Chocolate Marigolds with Autumn Foliage

All Supplies Provided by Instructor

Learn how to create various chocolate marigolds, along with buds and colorful autumn foliage in this class. You will also learn how to handle and work with modeling chocolate to create flowers and foliage, and then bring them to life using colors, and shading. Finally you will learn how to assemble them into a stunning arrangement. 

Gumpaste Bonsai Tree Hands on Demo

Saturday 10/1   2 - 5pm    Non Members $100 / Members $90

All Supplies Provided by Instructor

This hands on demo will show how to create a small bonsai from start making the foliage, flowers / fruit/cones. Continuing on to create limbs, branches, then the trunk. Anchor it in a container, and see how to create and add accents, to add design and interest.

Participants will each create a branch to start their own Bonsai at home.

Chocolate David Austin Rose with Foliage

Learn how to create these beautiful antique roses , a bud and foliage using modeling chocolate. In this class you will earn how to prepare, handle and work with modeling chocolate to create these overblown roses , buds, and leaves. The students will learn how to make the finished components come to life by adding color and shading. Finally you will learn how to assemble all the parts in to a beautiful arrangement.

Demo - All Edible Wired Chocolate Snapdragons and Mini Daisies

Be some of the first in the country to see Mari’s latest creation to all edible chocolate flowers. She will create the lovely multi component snapdragons, and mini daisies using modeling chocolate, noodles, and a new creation edible floral tape.

Chocolate Begonias and Leaves

Saturday 10/22     12 - 3pm      $120   All supplies provided by instructor

Come learn how to create the beautiful rose-like Begonia flower, and the Angel-wing styled leaves using modeling chocolate.

In this class you will learn how to work with modeling chocolate to create these life like botanical creations. Including how to color and shade both the flower and leaf to bring them to life, The class will finish with how to arrange the blossoms and leaves into an arrangement.

Chocolate Bas Relief Winter Wonderland

Sunday 10/23  8am - 12pm               $140   All Supplies Provided by Instructor

In this Bas Relief class students will learn how to create a multi layered winter scene, including all edible transfer techniques, painting on sugar, working with modeling chocolate to bring many dimensions and details and how to give it all that beautiful glistening effects to the entire scene, to invoke a beautiful winter scene.

Covering a Cake with Modeling Chocolate

Sunday 10/23       1:30 -2:30 pm      $25     

Learn how to cover a cake in delicious modeling chocolate. Creating a smooth, porcelain like surface, perfect for your finishing touches, and so much tastier than fondant.

Demo - Using your Noodle!

Mari loves using noodles, to help her keep her arrangements all edible, and give them movement and height, and a flexibility.

She has used these versatile noodles with various mediums (maybe you caught her short video with Icing Images, using them to make a flexible pearl string). She has used them throughout her career in buttercream, royal icing, chocolate, gelatin and fondant.

She will be showing a number of way, and techniques to show you how you can incorporate these in to your decoration repertoire.

Chocolate Bas Relief Angel

All supplies included. Each student will receive a free face mold included in price of class.

Have you always wanted to add dimension, and depth to the top and sides of your cakes?

Students learn how to take a picture, break it down in to layers, and build in dimensions and depth before adding color and shading. This class will use modeling chocolate and simple tools to create a multi-dimensional piece of art.

Chocolate Christmas Rose Holiday Spray

Create a different, and unique holiday floral arrangement with chocolate flowers.

Students will learn how to create Christmas Roses (also known as Heliconia), Carnations, Their Foliage, Variegated Ivy, Spruce Boughs and cones.

Student with then learn how to color each flower and foliage to bring them to life, and arrange them into a lovely arrangement.

Chocolate Autumn Foliage and Accents

Thursday 11/17 5 - 9pm     $120   All Supplies provided by Instructor

Discover how to create several beautifully colored chocolate autumn leaves, along with the bounty of chocolate wheat, various berries, acorns, and seed pods. Students will learn how to create a chocolate log and branches, how to bring each piece alive with color. Finally, they will learn how to arrange all in to a woodland display.

Holiday Poinsettia Dimensional Applique in Chocolate

Friday 11/18   5 - 9pm           $110     All supplies provided by instructor

This class will teach students how to create an all edible dimensional floral design for your Holiday designed cakes. This design will start with painting, then add chocolate layers that will create dimensions to create an arrangement that includes Poinsettia, Holly with Berries, and gilded Curls. When color is added, will add additional dimensions to the student’s piece.

Chocolate Holiday Poinsettia Arrangement

Learn how to make beautiful all edible chocolate flowers. Students in this class will learn how to work with modeling chocolate to create 2 beautiful life sized Poinsettia Varieties (the classic red and brightly colored Jingle Bells), Pine Boughs with quick cones, Holly with berries.

Continuing the lesson, they will learn how to color and shade to bring each flower to life.
